Dusk and Dawn: An Ode

The Sun - King of the sky
has to say goodbye
and travel to a new horizon.

As he walks away,
the sky bursts into a spectrum of crimson and gold.
The birds dance to the rhythm of the unknown.
A blanket of darkness enveloped the surroundings.
Little specks of light started appearing in the sky.

And from there, he saw the rising beauty of the Moon.

The Moon, the one he loved the most.
The most beautiful creature he ever saw.

The Moon saw the Sun as well.
And she was delighted to see
the creature she cherishes the most.

"I'm glad to finally see you," the Moon said.
"So do I," the Sun said

And there they enjoy their moments together.

But they both knew this wouldn't last.

The rule in this world cannot be bend
So the Sun has to leave.

"Wait for me, I will be back," the Sun said
"We will meet in this place again,
where the light meets with the dark
We will make our best moment of it,
even if it's just a brief moment."

So the Sun leaves
And the Moon stays.

The Moon - the maiden of the sky
has to say goodbye.
And travel to a new horizon.

As she leaves,
the sky bursts into a spectrum of turquoise and gold.
The birds sing to the tune of the unknown.
A blanket of light enveloped the surroundings.
The little specks of light started hiding in the sky

And there he saw the glory of the Sun.

The Sun, the love of her life.
The strongest creature she ever laid her eyes on.

The Sun saw the Moon as well.
And he was delighted to see
the creature he loves the most.

"I'm happy to see you again!" said the Sun
"And so do I," said the Moon

And there they enjoy their moments together.

But they both knew this wouldn't last.

The rule in this world cannot be bend
So the Moon has to leave.

"Wait for me, I will be back," the Moon said
"We will meet in this place again,
where the dark meets with the light
We will make our best moment of it,
even if it's just a brief moment."

So the Moon leaves
And the Sun stays.

And this is the story
of the forbidden love of Sun and Moon
who can only meet in a place
where the light meets the dark
and the dark meets the light
